A Coral Springs woman has been taken into custody following an incident in a Target parking lot, where she is accused of striking a driver during a dispute

Coral Springs, Florida – This week, a woman from Coral Springs was taken into custody following an alleged road rage incident that occurred in the parking lot of Target located at 9600 Westview Drive, according to a police report.

Jennifer Paras, 50, faces allegations of assaulting another driver on September 23. The incident reportedly escalated after the victim honked at Paras, who was in her Dodge Ram truck, distracted on her phone while exiting a parking space.

According to the report, the victim informed the police that the honking intensified into a verbal altercation. During this confrontation, Paras exited her truck, approached the victim’s vehicle, and reportedly hit her through the open driver-side window.

According to the report, witnesses corroborated the victim’s story, resulting in Paras facing charges of burglary along with assault and battery against an individual.

According to the report, the victim suffered minor injuries to the left side of her face due to a punch.

According to the report, Paras was taken into custody on Monday at her residence in Coral Springs.
