A new Broadway season will bring several local premieres to South Florida

Miami, Florida – Miami and Fort Lauderdale will host another thrilling Broadway season in 2024–2025. There will be twelve shows to choose from between the two centers, one of which is the South Florida debut of a musical about the King of Pop.

The Broward Center will host the South Florida premieres of Shucked and The Neil Diamond Musical in addition to MJ.

To ensure there is something for the whole family, there will also be some crowd favorites including Peter Pan and The Lion King.

Selecting which events to bring to a community is a difficult task, but ultimately, it all boils down to what the crowd wants to see.

“It’s really about what the subscribers want to see. We play a lot of attention to that. And it works. We’re able to find a great mix of shows between the Arsht Center and the Broward Center,” added Krajsa.
