A woman is dead after hit-and-run crash in Oakland Park

OAKLAND PARK, Florida– A woman is dead after a hit-and-run crash early Monday morning.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the incident was reported at 1:42 a.m. in the 1300 block of East Commercial Boulevard.

BSO spokeswoman Gerdy St. Louis says, the victim, Concepcion Siverts, was found lying in the westbound lanes of the roadway.

According to St. Louis, Siverts, 55, of Lauderhill, had injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
