Coral Springs, Florida – Parents now have the opportunity to find educational opportunities for their children.
The School Choice application period for the 2025–2026 academic year is currently available and will end on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, according to a statement from Broward County Public Schools (BCPS).
Families can apply for magnet programs with specialized STEM, art, and international studies curricula through the School Choice program. In order to attend a different school than the one designated based on their home address, families can also apply to Nova Schools or seek reassignment.
Families can visit browardschools.com/schoolchoice, the BCPS School Choice website, to learn more about their options. The website provides details for individual schools, opportunities by grade level, and information about a variety of initiatives. Online applications will be accepted beginning at 8 a.m. on December 2, 2024.
To finish the application procedure, students who are new to BCPS must have a student number. Parents and guardians can visit any BCPS school to obtain a student number.
Remember that magnet schools have bus service available. It cannot be used for reassignments, though.
For additional information or help, families can reach the BCPS School Choice team at schoolchoice@browardschools.com.
On January 21, 2025, the School Choice application period will end. Before the deadline, families that want to learn more about other educational options must apply.
