Back to School Drive Kicks Off in Coral Springs

Coral Springs, Florida – Yesterday marked the beginning of the annual Back to School Drive that is being held by the City of Coral Springs. The drive will continue until Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.

As part of this project, critical school supplies are distributed to children who are in need, ensuring that these children have the resources they require to have a successful academic year.

The City Hall Lobby, located at 9500 West Sample Road, and the Police Station Lobby, located at 2801 Coral Springs Drive, are the two primary places where residents are asked to drop off items between the dates of Wednesday, July 16, and Friday, August 6.

It is required that all donations be brand new. Some examples of products that can be donated include markers, crayons, pencils, pens (blue, red, and black), composition books, scissors, erasers, highlighters, folders, index cards, Post-It notes, loose-leaf paper, glue sticks, 3-ring binders, color pencils, rulers, flash drives, and tissues.
