Coast Guard returns 43 Cuban migrants back to the island

Key West, Florida – After making a dangerous journey from Cuba to South Florida, dozens of migrants were taken back home.

According to U.S. Coast Guard officials, this week, they repatriated 43 Cubans.

Coast Guard crews stopped the migrants in four different vessels off the coast of the Florida Keys, officials said.

Three of the interdictions happened on Wednesday.

The Cuban migrants were processed and sent back to the island.
