Coral Springs Charter football honors seniors after winning a rivalry game

Coral Springs, Florida – After defeating J.P. Taravella High School to start the week, the Coral Springs Charter football team honored other seniors.

Carter Hayden’s three touchdowns prior to Friday’s game against Marjory Stoneman Douglas helped the Panthers move up to 3-5 this season. In the Pig Bowl, the Eagles recently defeated Coral Springs High School for their first victory of the season.

After losing 0–8, J.P. Taravella will play again on Wednesday against Coleman High School before facing Coral Springs High School in their season finale on November 1 at 7 p.m.

The swim team recently celebrated its seniors, Skyler Davy, Anabel Holt, Ilana Kuritz, and Beylian DeJesus, and will participate in the District Championship on Monday, October 28.

DeJesus, Mason Grech, Abby Foster, Marissa Micioni, Mackenzie Maniscalco, Aliyah Rhoden, Natalia Gallo, and Jasmine Grbic were also honored by the cross-country squad.

Leah Costa and Isabella Goodman played at the Coral Springs Country Club, while Natalie Conte topped Coral Springs Charter with an 87. Next week, they will return there for the District Championship.
