Miami-Dade, Florida – Thursday night in Southwest Miami-Dade, a driver killed a cyclist in a hit-and-run.
According to the Miami-Dade police they found the victim laying in the roadway after responding to the scene at 196th Street and Southwest 127th Avenue, south of Zoo Miami, just after 9 p.m.
Police say, the male victim was taken to Jackson Medical Hospital South by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue where he passed away.
Police are looking for a 2000-2003 Lexus RX300 with damage on the right side as well as missing door molding on the passenger side, last seen heading west.
The victim’s identity is still unknown.
