Coral Springs, Florida – Friday afternoon a Coral Springs middle school was evacuated following a bomb threat.
According to Sgt. Ernesto Bruna, spokesman for Coral Springs Police Department, the police responded to Forest Glen Middle School at 6501 Turtle Run Boulevard around 12:30 pm after someone called the school to report a bomb threat.
He said students and faculty evacuated to a nearby park and they stayed there until police searched the building.
According to Bruna, before 2 p.m., those who evacuated went back to the school after officers found no trace of a bomb.
Coral Springs detectives will investigate further to determine where the call came from.
