MIAMI – A youth care worker at a juvenile facility is accused of sexual battery.
Miami-Dade Schools police arrested Javontate Richardson, 30, after a teen inmate at the Miami Girl’s Academy told a youth care specialist she had engaged in sexual activity with him.
Richardson was taken into custody after the girl’s allegations were confirmed through surveillance video.
He’s been charged with sexual battery on a minor by an adult and sexual misconduct with an inmate.
