Latest On Road Widening Project On East Side of Coral Springs

Coral Springs, Florida – Construction update: crews are clearing and grubbing a road on the east side of Coral Springs in preparation for a road-widening project.

A stretch of Turtle Creek Drive and NW 62nd Avenue between State Road 7 and Bland Road is being widened to add 4.5-foot bike lanes in each direction as well as reconstruct sidewalks, according to Florida Department of Transportation.

There have been lane closures during the construction of the $1.2 million project, which started in July and is expected to be completed in early 2021.
