Local leaders honored by Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida

Broward County, Florida – At the fifth annual Girl Scouts Lead the Way luncheon, five Broward County leaders will be honored by the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida.

The preeminent leadership development organization for girls, on Tuesday, September 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., will celebrate five women role models who embody the characteristics of being a go-getter, innovator, risk-taker, and leader.

The 2021 Girl Scouts Lead the Way honorees are: Heather Geronemus, Laurie Jennings, Jessica Marra, Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson, Ph.D., and Kim Saiswick, EdD, RN, LMHC.

The luncheon at the Signature Grand in Davie FL. includes a panel featuring the honorees who will discuss their leadership and commitment to their community, share their insights on business and current issues facing Broward County, and what impacted and contributed to their success.

Attendees will hear from local Girl Scouts who have benefited from the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and have the chance to bid in a silent auction. Tickets for the live event are $85 or $50 for a virtual live stream option.
