Lolita, an orca at the Miami Seaquarium becoming sicker

Miami, Florida – Lolita the orca, housed at the Miami Seaquarium, is the subject of mounting concern.

The adored Tokitae, a 56-year-old orca, is reportedly in deteriorating health.

Although Lolita’s health has been deteriorating for a while, recent events appear to be making things worse.

On Facebook, the Miami Seaquarium published a statement that said in part.

“Medication has stabilized Toki’s health after the respiratory condition she experienced early this year. While not considered critical, her appetite has decreased. With guidance from Toki’s vet, as well as the foremost marine mammal experts in the world, extra precautions are being taken.”

Insiders claim that the orca is now under a 24-hour watch because the lights at her habitat were on all through Saturday night and into Sunday.

Additionally, a picture of the construction crane that is currently standing outside the whale stadium was submitted to us.

Lolita experienced a respiratory infection in February of last year, but she has since recovered.

On-going information about her status is anticipated from the Miami Seaquarium.
