Miami Gardens storage facility goes up in flames

Miami Gardens, Florida – A large fire occurred at a storage facility in Miami Gardens.

Late Saturday night, the fire broke out at the Public Storage located along Northwest 27th Avenue and 156th Street.

According to authorities, a driver lost control of their car and crashed into the building at approximately 11:25 p.m.

Saturday. The vehicle then caught on fire, which spread to the facility.

Several units were left charred.

According to authorities, the driver fled the area on foot before officers arrived.

At this time authorities have not released any information on whether there were any injuries.
