More than 200 Pounds of Prescription Drugs Collected From Homes in Coral Springs Event

Coral Springs, Florida – Coral Springs police collected 225 pounds of unused or expired prescription drugs from homes during last weekend’s drive-thru National Prescription Drug Take Back Day event.

According to police, residents in more than 80 cars dropped off their prescriptions in the drive-thru line on Saturday at Broward Health Coral Springs.

Similar events happened across the nation as part of the drugs take-back initiative organized by Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
