On its route to South Florida, Brightline plans to add a new stop

Brevard County, Florida – To make it easier for commuters to get from South Florida to Central Florida, Brightline is building yet another train station.

On Tuesday, the City of Cocoa in Brevard County announced the addition.

“Brightline is ready to begin the formal process with Space Coast stakeholders to fulfill our vision for a Brevard County station. The Space Coast TPO, Brevard County, the City of Cocoa and other community leaders have started to bring the region together to identify potential federal, state, and local resources for a station to be located in Cocoa. We agree the time is now to finalize a plan,” said Katie Mitzner, Director of Public Affairs, Brightline.

Cruise guests will find it easier to go to and from neighboring Port Canaveral thanks to the development.

The train business revealed plans for a stop in Martin County’s downtown Stuart last week.
The station will be situated in the middle of the Orlando and Miami stations. The station is conveniently located off of Florida’s Turnpike, I-95, and is about 40 miles north of Brightline West Palm Beach. A 40-minute train ride will get you there.

In September 2023, the high-speed rail business celebrated the opening of its Miami to Orlando route.

Travel to Orlando from Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and West Palm Beach is made easier by this route.

Brightline conducted extensive springtime drills in Orange County with its high-speed trains to get them ready for the route.

The trains’ top speed of 130 miles per hour was just a little bit quicker than they would be when carrying people.

Smart service tickets start at $79, while premium seating tickets start at $149. Tickets for children are $39.
