Coral Springs, Florida – When the city replaces its garbage hauling services beginning on October 1, certain Coral Springs homeowners may notice a difference in the day and time of trash and recycling pickup, according to city officials.
The city’s garbage and recycling removal will be handled by Coastal Waste & Recycling instead of Waste Pro, which has been offering these services to Coral Springs citizens since 2013.
Although officials have stated that they do not foresee any service interruptions, they are nevertheless asking people to check their scheduled days here in case their community’s pickup time and day change.
According to the municipal website, Coastal will provide each home with a green 95-gallon garbage cart and a blue 65-gallon recycling cart.
Distribution of the blue recycle carts will start on October 15; that of the green garbage carts will start on November 12.
Residents are being asked by officials to use their new carts as soon as they get them. After that, they can wait to have their old, empty carts hauled up by leaving them out on the curb. After the new carts are delivered, it may take one to three days for cart pickup.
