Coral Springs, Florida – On Thursday, October 17, from 4 to 9 p.m., the community is cordially invited to a special fundraiser at Wings Plus, hosted by the Coral Glades High School National Tech Honors Society (NTHS).
Wings Plus, 9880 W Sample Rd, Coral Springs, is the location of the event. By dining at the restaurant and noting that they are there for NTHS while ordering their orders, attendees may help the club.
The NTHS group, which has 150 members, is essential in helping students get ready for life after high school.
“As a club, we teach students skills that they will need in high school and beyond,” explained Tyler Ferro, an advisor for NTHS and CTACE Computer Programming Teacher. “We teach them things like résumé writing, leadership, social networking, and serving the community, regardless of whether they are heading to college or trade school. Our main goals are to better our members and support them in bettering themselves, their communities, and the future.
Twenty percent of the evening’s earnings will go to the NTHS, which will use the money to support community service and charitable initiatives.
