One of America’s Top 250 Hospitals is HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Margate

Margate, Florida – Officials at HCA Florida Northwest facility said Friday that the facility is one of 14 HCA Florida Healthcare facilities that have been selected for America’s 250 Best Hospitals list for 2025.

The list honors the country’s top 5% of hospitals based on their overall clinical performance.
Recently, Healthgrades, which rates hospitals according to patient outcomes, announced the best hospitals.

At over 4,500 hospitals across the country, the group examines the death and complication rates for over 30 illnesses and treatments. According to officials, the results of hospitals on the list are superior to those of hospitals with lower rankings.

Nearly 30% of HCA Florida Healthcare’s hospitals are listed. Aventura, Kendall, and Orange Park, three HCA Florida hospitals, have been named to America’s 100 Best Hospitals for the second consecutive year. For the first time, Brandon Hospital was listed among the top 250.

Awards were also given to HCA Florida Healthcare hospitals in areas like orthopedics, joint replacement, gastrointestinal services, and cardiovascular care.

Healthgrades awarded the system almost 200 honors for cardiovascular services in 2025.
According to Richard Hammett, president of HCA Healthcare’s Atlantic Group, the rankings demonstrate the hospital network’s dedication to providing high-quality treatment.
