Coral Springs, Florida – The inaugural event in the “Move with the Mayor” series, which is a community project to promote health, well-being, and community engagement, will be held under the leadership of Mayor Scott Brook.
The pickleball session will be available to all citizens and will take place in Cypress Park from 7:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on the day of the event, which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
The “Move with the Mayor” series, as stated by the City of Coral Springs, is designed to encourage citizens to maintain an active lifestyle, meet their elected officials, and develop a better sense of community all at the same time.
An entertaining morning is guaranteed for everyone who takes part in the event, regardless of whether they are a seasoned pickleball player or somebody who has never played the sport before.
As a sport that is not only easy to learn but also enjoyable to play, pickleball is a wonderful opportunity to engage in physical exercise. It is a sport that is low-impact, healthy, and easy to learn.
In addition, homeowners will have the opportunity to meet Mayor Brook and other members of the City Commission in a setting that is laid back and informal. This event will provide a one-of-a-kind opportunity for residents to connect with their neighbors and make new friends while enjoying an active morning in the park together.
Court #1 at Cypress Park, which can be found at 1301 Coral Springs Drive, will serve as the location for the pickleball session. In addition to bringing their own pickleball paddle, participants are strongly advised to wear and bring sneakers and comfortable clothing.
