Coral Springs, Florida – Residents can take part in this year’s much-anticipated annual Christmas parade, where local groups, schools, and community members come together to showcase their festive enthusiasm and inventiveness.
Through floats, marching bands, and performances, this year’s parade theme, Magical Memories: A Ride Down Memory Lane, encourages spectators to consider treasured holidays from the past and present.
held along Sample Road, next to City Hall at 9500 West Sample Road, on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 7 to 9 p.m. Until 6:30 p.m. or until space is filled, there will be free parking at the City Hall garage. With a valid decal, handicapped-accessible parking is available from Coral Hills Drive via Wiles Road, across from City Hall.
To see the parade route, locals and guests should pack blankets and lawn chairs. The City Hall viewing location at the junction of Sample Road and Coral Hills Drive will have wheelchair seats. Seating alternatives may also be offered by nearby eateries and retail establishments.
Porta potties will be positioned across from City Hall and close to Wendy’s and Burger King for convenience, and there will be more facilities within City Hall.
Road restrictions will start at 5 p.m. on parade day, affecting Coral Springs Drive north of Royal Palm Boulevard and south of NW 37th Street, as well as Sample Road west of University Drive and east of NW 110th Avenue, according to a municipal statement. It is recommended that drivers look for other routes. While pedestrian traffic will be permitted, private golf carts are not permitted.
The Holiday Parade will be webcast on CoralSprings.gov/citytv the day after if you are unable to attend or have family in another city.
