Coral Springs, Florida – Enrolling your child in the Junior Jaguars Pre-K program for autumn is still possible.
For the upcoming academic year, Coral Glades High School will be expanding its educational offerings by bringing in a distinctive learning environment for high school students enrolled in the Early Childhood program as well as pre-kindergarten kids.
According to Principal Mark Kaplan, the students will work closely under the guidance of a recently hired, licensed preschool teacher and an assistant. They will obtain practical experience and complete the required hours towards earning their certification in early childhood teaching.
He says that the classroom is finished now. There are a few spaces available, and they have an assistant and a teacher.
The Junior Jaguars VPK program provides a reliable preschool option, which benefits the district and school personnel in addition to being an educational opportunity for the youngsters. Interactions between younger and older students create a special mentoring and learning dynamic, and the high school students have priceless practical experience in early childhood education.
For the 2024–2025 academic year, Boyd Anderson and West Broward High Schools will also be a part of the VPK program. The program is intended for children ages 3 and 4, with priority given to the offspring of school staff.
Parents and guardians who are interested are urged to reserve a space at browardschools.com/vpkapplication.
