Touch-A-Truck event in Coral Springs for special needs and sensory issued children and youth

Coral Springs, Florida – Children and young people who have special needs or who are experiencing sensory challenges are invited to attend an event that is being hosted by the city of Coral Springs.

Attendees will have the opportunity to spend the morning with members of the city’s fire and police departments, become acquainted with rescue equipment, investigate emergency vehicles, and learn about local service providers at the Touch-A-Truck event.

Parents and caregivers of individuals who have cognitive impairments have the opportunity to register for the city’s special needs database and obtain additional information about it.

When an emergency occurs, the database makes it possible for first responders to be aware of the specific requirements of an individual.

On Saturday, April 20, from eleven in the morning to two in the afternoon, the event will take place at the Mullins Hall Parking Lot, which is located at 10150 NW 29 Street in Coral Springs.
