Coral Springs, Florida – Comedian and creator Ilana Glazer will be performing live at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts; don’t miss it.
This show, which is slated to begin at 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024, is anticipated to be a highlight of the Center’s season schedule.
Famous for co-creating and starring in the popular television show Broad City, Ilana Glazer brings her sense of humor to the Coral Springs stage. This performance is a part of Ilana Glazer Live, her current tour that has been receiving positive reviews across the country.
Ilana Glazer grew up in a Reform Jewish family on Long Island, New York, where she was born and reared. Her comic style and sense of cultural identity have been greatly influenced by her Jewish heritage. The two female characters of Broad City use Jewish humor and culture to get by in their regular secular lives.
There is more to Ilana Glazer’s repertoire than just television humor. The Planet is Burning, her debut stand-up special, is accessible on Amazon Prime. She has also created a name for herself in movies, co-writing and acting in A24’s False Positive, which is streaming on Hulu, as well as making appearances in Rough Night and The Afterparty on Apple TV+.
She also co-founded Generator Collective, a nonprofit to use storytelling to humanize policy.
The show’s tickets start at $38. 2855 Coral Springs Drive is the address of the Coral Springs Center for the Arts. Call 954-344-5990 or go to www.TheCenterCS.com to purchase tickets.
