BSO holds National Faith and Blue event to encourage community positivity
Lauderhill, Florida – In Lauderhill park, the Broward Sheriff’s Office hosted its annual Faith and Blue celebration.
At Central Broward Regional Park on Saturday, BSO deputies spoke with members of the faith-based community and urged them to organize.
Deputies sent a message to the neighborhood’s residents.
“We’re really trying to wrap our arms around the community, and they wrap their arms around us,” said BSO Capt. A. Jones, “so they will know that we’re here to help. We’re not here to harm anybody.”
The goal of the initiative was to encourage positive interactions and advancements among police officers.
