Coral Springs’s Ella Coffee House offers creative dishes and coffee with Italian influence

Coral Springs, Florida – We got to check out the menu and savor some excellent cuisine and coffee from the recently opened Ella Coffee House franchise in Coral Springs.
They have more sites in Plantation, Davie, and the Hard Rock Stadium. They have been open since 2016. They use a specific blend of beans and specialize in making coffee in the Italian style. They also have a unique menu in that there isn’t one for food; instead, each meal is made and put on show, complete with vibrantly detailed accompaniments.
Arriving on small wooden boards that complement the completed wood interior design, the coffee is visually appealing and fragrant. Some house-made flavors were available, such as “hazelnut-ella” and rosemary caramel. They were excellent and not overly sweet.
Everything is prepared fresh upon request. Rye and toasted grains were offered with the avocado toast. The zesty avocado smash was a great contrast to the salty feta cheese and sweet balsamic sauce. To the side of the platter was a freshly prepared side of arugula dressed with lemon juice.
We found the fig and brie sandwich to be a little too sweet and jarring. It’s not horrible at all, however brie cheese should normally be the star of the show because of its potency. Rather, it was a little muffled and subdued. A little jar of freshly chosen fruits and vegetables with a mild dressing is included with the sandwiches. It seemed strange to include a jar whose major ingredients were grapes and apples when the fig and brie sandwich was already sweet.
The Greek salad was excellent because it was obvious that the components were of a better caliber. The vinaigrette was delicate and airy, but the feta wedges on top were a little flat. It felt fantastic to nibble away because I wanted to eat something healthful without compromising my taste sensibilities.
Our favorite sandwich was the caprese. When the lunch arrived, the Caprese and fresh pesto bubbled and the tomatoes were bursting with flavor. Leeks and red onions were among the intriguing assortment of pickled vegetables in the side container. In fact, it went really well with it.
We finished with some freshly cooked, delicious banana bread from that morning. We exchanged sly glances and nodded to one other, indicating that we should order this again when we were in the mood for it.
One of the small stages was seen off in the corner. It looks like Wednesday afternoons are when live music starts, so it might be worth a look.
I’m pleased to say that, despite a few small complaints, starting some mornings or brunches here seems like a terrific idea overall.
