Coral Springs gets French and latin-inspired coffee, pastries, and sandwiches at a new downtown espresso cafe

Coral Springs, Florida – Coral Springs now boasts a new café that serves a variety of French and Latin-inspired dishes in a welcoming atmosphere.
Lady in the Mug’s location at 3111 N University Drive has been replaced by Downtown Espresso, which is owned by Juan Carlos “JC” Fernandez.
The café offers specialty drinks including affogatos, matcha, and frappes in addition to classic coffee favorites like lattes, espressos, and cappuccinos.
In addition, the menu included dishes like chocolate cake, which Fernandez called “the best chocolate cake in South Florida,” quiche-based desserts, and chicken salad sandwiches.
According to Fernandez, “We’ll keep changing everything so there’s something different every week.” “I want people to visit, enjoy a great cup of coffee, and also enjoy something else that is unique.”
In an effort to help the community, the café offers free Americano coffee every day to first responders, such as police officers and firefighters, he said.
Daily hours for Downtown Espresso are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
