Will There Be Trick-Or-Treating in Coral Springs This Halloween?
Coral Springs, Florida – Will there be trick-or-treating in Coral Springs later this month? The simple answer is: Coral Springs has not canceled Halloween.
If you plan to go trick-or-treating, the city recommends following safety protocols — wearing a facial covering (except children under 2), avoiding large crowds and gatherings, practicing frequent handwashing, and using hand sanitizer.
Further, Coral Springs said in a statement that neighbors who want to pass out treats, should keep their porch lights on.
And if your neighbors do not have their lights on, do not knock on the door because they may be taking extra precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 or simply they not be home, the statement said.
Coming up: Coral Springs officials, in partnership with the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 87, are planning a safely-distanced Cops and Kids Drive-Thru Trick or Treat at City Hall on Halloween.
Event time and pre-registration information will be issued by FOP Lodge 87 later this week.
