CORAL SPRINGS, FL – A 42-year-old Coral Springs man is in jail charged with sexually assaulting and molesting at least one girl, police reports said.
Ryneil Atkins faces 16 charges for allegedly sexually abusing a girl or girls going back to 2018, the reports said.
In heavily redacted police reports released Friday, it’s not clear how many victims Atkins is accused of abusing.
Atkins was arrested on April 30 and has been at Broward County Jail since then.
He is charged with four counts of lewd and lascivious conduct and 12 counts of sexual assault, according to jail records.
For one of the sexual assault charges, a report said a girl accused Atkins of forcibly holding her down by the arms and legs. She tried to kick him and escape from him.
For one of the lewd and lascivious charges, a report said Atkins showed a girl several $100 bills and offered some of them to her in exchange for sex.
Atkins has no bond on the sexual assault charges and has a $10,000 bond for each of the lewd and lascivious conduct charges, according to jail records.
