‘Individual in crisis’ at Davie home, police responded

Davie, Florida – After a report about “an individual in crisis,” Davie police responded to a neighborhood Wednesday morning.
Numerous officers were at the scene at 5300 block of Southwest 42nd Street.
Police confirmed that Crisis Intervention Team and Special Response Team were working together to convince the person to exit the home.
According to authorities, officers had been in contact with all parties who were inside.
The incident ended just after 9:30 a.m. and everyone who was inside the home exited safely reported Sgt. Kelvin Urbaez.
He said the “incident was resolved without issues.”
It’s unclear whether anyone was detained and no other details have been released.
