City Partners with Broward County to Launch ePermitsOneStop

Coral Springs, Florida – The City of Coral Springs, in partnership with Broward County, launched ePermitsOneStop, a quicker and more seamless online permitting system for city and county permit applications, licenses and approvals.
The centralized website allows Coral Springs customers to submit an application and have their plans reviewed online for both Coral Springs building permits and associated Broward County permits and approvals. This partnership launch will eliminate the need for city customers to travel to the Broward County permitting office located in Plantation.
Regarding this innovative new initiative, the city’s Chief Building Official Alexander Hernandez said, “We are always looking to improve the convenience and efficiency of our operations in City of Coral Springs. The launch of this online system eliminates travel to other governmental agencies to complete permitting projects, which saves time and money for residents and business owners.”
Of 542 Achievement Awards submitted from 30 states, the ePermitsOneStop program earned the county one of 13 Achievement Awards presented by the National Association of Counties (NACo) for innovative and effective government programs.
