Coral Springs approves another 7-Eleven store

Coral Springs, Florida – The sixth 7-Eleven store in the city is coming soon.
On Wednesday the City Commission approved a new 7-Eleven store on the southwest corner of University Drive and Wiles Road.
The store’s developers got approval to demolish the existing 5,136 square-foot Valero gas station, which has been there since 1979, and replace it with a 4,088 square-foot service station and convenience store with six fuel pumps to accommodate 12 vehicles at once.
A special permission was approved by the commission because its construction required exemptions to the city’s land development codes. Commissioners approved them unanimously.
According to the store’s representative, the new location will add more landscaping to the property and reduce energy consumption from its “white roof.”
It’s not known when the store will open.
