Temple Beth Orr’s Religious School Shines with Innovative Curriculum and Rave Reviews from Parents

Coral Springs, Florida – Parents and children at Coral Springs’ Temple Beth Orr’s Religious School are praising the school for providing an outstanding educational experience.
Temple Beth Orr, 2151 Riverside Dr., Coral Springs, has grown substantially, offering a strong foundation in Jewish education. They have recently updated their curriculum, which now covers Kindergarten through 7th grade, and added a new VPK class.
In order to minimize conflicts with midweek events and parental commitments, the program is held on Sunday mornings, catering to the hectic schedules of contemporary families.
Students participate in a variety of engaging activities, including arts and crafts, Israeli dancing, prayers, songs, Hebrew lessons, holiday celebrations, and more, demonstrating how effectively this deliberate approach has been received by the community.
The director of the religious school, Phyllis Lasky, expressed her happiness at witnessing the pupils’ happiness. She pointed out that contented children generate a good vibe that spreads to their families and promotes harmony in the classroom.
Temple Beth Orr’s Religious School parents have shared their stories, highlighting the beneficial effects the school has had on their kids’ growth.
After three years of her son attending the school, Carli Suarez commented on the development her youngster has shown.
“Under Phyllis’ supervision, the religious school has grown tenfold in worth and enjoyment! The children are exposed to Judaism in a variety of interesting ways. Our son has developed and grown tremendously. I’m so glad everything came together for his bar mitzvah!
Parent of two small children, ages four and two, Alex Samsky, praised Temple Beth Orr’s friendly environment.
“It has been really touching to feel included and welcomed from the moment we walked through the doors.” “What has truly made the services special for us is when our children can be involved,” said Samsky, expressing his appreciation for the children’s participation in the sessions.
The Sunday program is attended by Samsky’s eldest son, who finds it interesting and fun.
The modest class numbers (about 8–10 children) enable concentrated instruction in Hebrew, Jewish history, and prayers. Our son is engaged and eager to come every week because of the weekly themes and the encouragement for parents to participate.
Stephanie Birkholz, a different mom, emphasized the continuity between the religious school and the ECC preschool by describing Temple Beth Orr as a home for her family.
Every Sunday morning, the rabbi sets up a table to meet the kids as they come for Hebrew school. As the children enter the school, she invites them to take part in a welcoming exercise while enjoying some Jewish music in the background. She is involved and well-versed in her congregation.
Birkholz also emphasized the staff’s excitement. “The director is a lively and fun-loving person. She promotes play, experiences, and activities that foster learning within the family. With purpose and emotion, the cantor sings. In order to use songs and prayers to boost the congregation and the community, he encourages the kids to join the choir.
Temple Beth Orr’s Religious School is a beloved component of the Coral Springs community, continuing to have a tremendous impact on kids and their families via its robust curriculum, committed staff, and emphasis on providing a welcoming environment.
