3 High School Football Teams in Coral Springs Begin Season in Kickoff Classic

Coral Springs, Florida – Football season in high school has begun. Three teams participated in the Kickoff Classic last week.
In their opening game, Coral Glades was defeated by Somerset Silver Palms High School. On Friday, August 23, at 7 p.m., they will play Cooper City High School in their first regular season game. They are coming off of a two-win season. In their ten games last season, the Cowboys managed just two victories as well.
American Heritage was played by Coral Springs Charter, who lost 46–6. Ralph Diaz, the quarterback in the eighth grade, was playing in his first game. Last season, the Panthers graduated a number of players from a squad that claimed four victories. On Thursday, August 22, they will take on NSU University at 6:00 p.m.In their most recent meeting, the Sharks defeated this squad 37-0.
J.P. Taravella had only one victory the previous year, falling to North Broward 34-0. On Friday, August 23, at 4 p.m., the Trojans will take on Hollywood Hills High School in their next game. Their first game of 2024 ended with a 36-15 victory over Northeast High School.
The opening game of the season between Coral Springs High School and Palm Beach Lake High School is scheduled for Friday, August 23, at 7 p.m. The Colts, who were 5-5 the previous season, have Anthony Wallace as their new coach this year.
