$42,000 Stolen In 19 Incidents in Coral Springs

Coral Springs, Florida – The Police Department in Coral Springs says that during the week of May 12-18  more than $42,000 was stolen in 19 incidents of shoplifting, fraud,  and other thefts.

During that time three people were arrested for crimes and thefts in the city.

Here is the crime and incident report:

– May 12, Walmart, 3801 Turtle Creek Drive, Estimated loss: $86

– May 12, Turtle Creek Drive, Estimated loss: $649

– May 17, Wiles Road, Estimated loss: $64

– May 17, West Atlantic Boulevard, Estimated loss: $155

Identify theft

– May 12, Coral Springs Drive, Victim: man, 68

– May 13, North University Drive

– May 14, NW 23 Manor, Victim: man, 43

– May 14, Royal Palm Boulevard, Victim: woman, 28

Fraud

– May 12, Royal Palm Boulevard, Victim: woman, 53

– May 12, NW 121 Terrace, Victim: woman, 57, Estimated loss: $36,000

– May 13, Riverside Drive, Victim: man, 32

– May 17, Coral Ridge Drive, Victim: woman, 39, Estimated loss: $1,508

Grand theft

– May 12, Turtle Creek Drive, Estimated loss: $767

Grand theft auto

– May 14, NW 100 Drive, Victim: man, 72, Estimated loss: $100

– May 17, no address provided, Estimated loss: $951

Petite theft

– May 16, Coral Ridge Drive, Victim: man, 65, Estimated loss: $1

Theft arrests

– John Phillips, 21, arrested on a charge of shoplifting/retail theft.

– Kristoff Brown, 19, arrested on a charge of theft.

– Clinton Tripp, 39, arrested on a charge of grand theft.
