Miami Beach unveils rainbow-striped lifeguard tower
Miami Beach, Florida – As Pride Month comes to an end, Miami Beach gave a lifeguard tower a makeover that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community.
On Thursday evening, Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber joined other city leaders to unveil Miami Beach’s first Pride lifeguard tower.
The tower is located near 12th Street and Ocean Drive.
In order to reflect the traditional rainbow flag, now, the tower displays six vertical painted stripes.
