Power outages throughout South Florida due to Hurricane Ian
Florida – Hurricane Ian is causing some power problems in South Florida. Strong winds downed power lines, mostly from Tuesday night’s storms.
In Miami-Dade, 11,390 people still do not have power, Wednesday.
In Broward, 6,740 people still don’t have power.
In Monroe, 579 people remain without power.
In Palm Beach County, 5,780 people remain without power.
In Collier County, 185,740 people remain without power.
In Lee County, 269,120 (out of 288,630 total customers) people remain without power.
In Charlotte County, 124,670 (out of 126,690 total customers) people remain without power.
In Sarasota, 255,460 people remain without power.
Factoring West Coast outages from Wednesday, more than one million people in Florida have no power right now.
