During spring break, Coral Springs High School Baseball wins 1 game

Coral Springs, Florida – The Coral Springs High School baseball team played in four games while most students were on spring break.
The Colts finished 1-3 but had some strong performances, coming off their fourth win of the year, a 3-2 triumph over Cardinal Gibbons.
While Andrew Allison and Saul Garcia combined to pitch three shutout innings in relief, Ruben Zuany and Ryan Guthrie each got RBIs. In their 7-2 defeat against Palmetto, Zuany added two additional hits and an RBI, and in their 7-1 loss to New Smyrna, Allison went 2-3 with one RBI.
Thanks to a flawless performance by Bethancourt, the Colts defeated IMG Academy Silver 3-1 in their final game on Friday. He struck out four and gave up just one run and four hits. Zunay scored two runs, including a triple, and Guthrie and Joseph Martinelli each had an RBI.
CSHS, currently 5-11 on the year, will play their next game on Tuesday, April 2, at 7 p.m. against Miami Springs High School. In their lone match of the previous season, the Golden Hawks, who are 8-6 this year, defeated the Colts 11-1.
