Early voting for the August 20 primary elections in Broward County begins

Coral Springs, Florida – A list of sites for early voting in the August 20th Primary Elections, which start this weekend, has been made public by Broward County.
Early voting is available to Broward voters who registered by July 22nd at any of the 28 venues that have been set aside for that purpose. Through Sunday, August 18, the locations are open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Joe Scott, the Broward County Supervisor of Elections, stressed the value of early voting and urged qualified citizens to take advantage of its convenience in a news release announcing its launch.
Voters can cast their ballots at a time and place that best suits them by taking advantage of early voting. In order to guarantee that everyone can take part in the democratic process, we have made it as safe and accessible as we can,” Scott stated.
“I urge all eligible voters to use this period and ensure their voices are heard,” Scott continued, encouraging people to cast their ballots ahead of time in order to avoid the chaotic rush to the polls. Remember to cast your early ballot with a friend or member of your family.
To cast an early ballot, you must, as required by law, bring a picture ID that has been signed.
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant voting equipment will be available to voters with disabilities at each location.
Additionally, secure drop boxes for ballot intake will be available at every location so that voters can mail in their ballots.
