September 14, Soldier Rush obstacle course races into Parkland

Coral Springs, Florida – Returning to Parkland in 2024, Soldier Rush is a boot camp-type competition that will feature giveaways, an obstacle course race in the military style, and more.
The race is scheduled for Saturday, September 14, from 6:30 a.m. to noon at the Parkland Equestrian Center, located at 8350 Ranch Road.
Manuel Mair, the organizer of Soldier Rush, claims that participants of all fitness levels are welcome to participate. For those who have never taken part in an obstacle course before, Mair suggested that this would be a great event.
To memorialize the victims of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas tragedy, participants will have to climb over 17 walls that are four feet high throughout the 5K (3.1 mile) race. In addition, people have to crawl under cargo net walls, monkey bars, rope climbs, and barricades.
The retired Marine Mair stated, “Those who finish this course will have a sense of accomplishment at the end.”
Patriotism is at the core of this yearly event, which is in its tenth year. Participants will experience a true military boot camp and be put through tests of strength, speed, dexterity, endurance, and enjoyment. Fit on a Mission, a 501(c)3 charity that assists first responders and veterans, is supported by Soldier Rush.
As to Mair’s statement, each participant will get a finisher medal, a T-shirt, drinks, and food from Funky Buddha.
