Coral Springs Chabad Men’s Trip to Include “Solidarity” Visits to Israeli Sites Attacked on Oct. 7

Coral Springs, Florida – Chabad Jewish Center of Coral Springs is readying for a November men’s trip to Israel that will include praying at the Western Wall, special Shabbat meals and services, visits with wounded IDF veterans, and a visit to the site of the Oct. 7 Nova Music Festival massacre.
Rabbi Yankie Denburg, who leads the center with his wife Chana, said highlights of the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute’s Land & Spirit men’s trip also include a musical tour of Jerusalem’s historic Jewish Quarter, tours of the ancient Western Wall tunnels and “solidarity” experiences near Israel’s border with Gaza.
Participants will help Israeli farmers near Gaza with planting, pruning, or harvesting crops as part of attempts to help Israel’s agricultural industry. This sector has struggled since the Oct. 7 terrorist strikes.
Attendees will also stroll the streets of Sderot and hear accounts from people living under the fear of rocket fire, visit a kibbutz attacked by Hamas-led terrorists on Oct. 7, and organize a BBQ with live music for Israeli combat soldiers.
The trip’s registrants, from Coral Springs and across the globe, will also have time to ponder at Rachel’s Tomb on the outskirts of Bethlehem, see other holy places, and participate in anti-terror training with former IDF troops, among several other experiences.
The itinerary “has been carefully curated to be both exciting and uplifting while offering an unparalleled experience of bonding, exploration, and spiritual growth,” added Denburg.
“Most importantly, this trip will also provide us with a special opportunity to connect with and support our brothers and sisters in Israel during these trying times,” the rabbi continued, referencing Israel’s multi-front war with terrorist groups.
The vacation is set for Nov. 4 to Nov. 10.
Participants will stay at the Prima Kings Hotel in Jerusalem. The subsidized cost of the trip is $2,900 per participant, which includes a shared hotel room. All hotels, most meals, and transportation in Israel are included in the fee.
The cost of airfare is not included in the $2,900 trip package and must be purchased individually by participants. Attendees who have paid can go to Israel and begin the tour at any time.
The IDF is now fighting a multi-front war that began with the Oct. 7 attacks on southern Israel. Israeli officials continue to encourage tourists to the country to support its economy and express sympathy.
Denburg claimed security officers will be protecting trip participants and that they should feel safe traveling in the country.
