Large fire at an apartment complex in Miami Gardens
Miami Gardens, Florida – On Tuesday afternoon about 20 Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews were sent to put out a large fire at an apartment complex in Miami Gardens at 21300 Northwest 9th Place, east of the Florida Turnpike and not far from Hard Rock Stadium.
Leaving significant damage, flames could be seen on the roof at one corner of the three-story complex.
According to MDFR, the fire is now under control, and that crews are removing the ceiling from the third-floor apartment in order to better target the fire.
In order to ensure they’re clear of any residents, units are also conducting searches inside the apartments.
