20 new covid-19 cases in Coral Springs Schools
Coral Springs, Florida – According to the Broward County Public Schools Coronavirus Dashboard, at least 11 Coral Springs schools reported new positive Covid-19 cases among students and employees between Dec. 13-18.
According to CDC data, the cases were up significantly in schools from previous months as new infections and Florida’s new-case positivity rate more than doubled this week compared to the previous week.
There were at least 20 cases reported at the local schools between Dec. 13-18, according to the schools’ dashboard – a number that is likely much higher since the data is based on self-reporting from employees and confirmed cases from students attending in-person instruction.
According to the schools’ dashboard, at all Broward County schools, 225 students and employees have tested positive between Dec. 13-18.
