1 dead, 1 injured after multi-vehicle crash in North Miami

North Miami, Florida – Following a multi-vehicle crash in North Miami, one person has died and another was left injured.
The incident happened just before 2 a.m., Monday, near Northwest 119th Street and Seventh Avenue. The mangled cars and debris could be seen scattered across the roadway.
A white SUV, a black sedan, and a red and white Dodge were involved in the crash.
The driver of the red and white Dodge died from injuries sustained in the crash, officials said.
According to officials, the driver of the white SUV was rushed to the hospital while the driver of the black sedan walked away without major injuries.
Witnesses said they saw the red and white sedan speeding down Northwest Seventh Avenue.
Until the scene cleared, Northwest 119th and 120th streets along Northwest Seventh Avenue was closed to traffic.
According to police, this may be a possible case of drag racing.
