Coral Springs woman arrested with 13 bags of cocaine
Coral Springs, Florida – According to court records, a Coral Springs woman was arrested this month when police caught her carrying 13 bags of cocaine.
According to an arrest affidavit, officers busted Sarah Osunfisan, 18, of 4250 NW 90th Ter., after spotting her dark blue Dodge Avenger parked in an unassigned space at the Fairway Views condominiums 8740 NW 40th Street, on July 10.
Four people were in the car, including Osunfisan, the driver, Coral Springs Police said. The vehicle smelled of marijuana, and police spotted a glass bong on the center console, records show.
According to the affidavit, when police searched Osunfisan, they found 11 bags of cocaine in her purse, another bag in her wallet, and another in her bra.
She told police that some of the bags contained Molly, the slang term for MDMA or ecstasy. Field tests done on the drugs at the scene tested positive for cocaine, police said.
Osunfisan was charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Records show she was booked into the Broward Main Jail and released on her own recognizance. She has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
