Children with special needs can attend a free Super Bowl party hosted by the Coral Springs Foundation

Coral Springs, Florida – Coral Springs resident Jeannie DeMarzo is extremely passionate about sports, but improving the lives of children with special needs and their families is her first goal.
In order to “kick off” the new year for the families she serves, she is inspiring her Danielle DeMarzo Foundation (DDF) to throw its first-ever Super Bowl Party.
The nonprofit was established in 2000 by Frank, Jeannie, and their two daughters, Danielle and Jennifer, following Danielle’s Turner Syndrome diagnosis.
“Everyone watches the Super Bowl and loves football,” Jeannie added. “I therefore believed that we should all watch it together.”
The inaugural performance of the DDF’s Family Super Bowl Watch Party will take place at Quarterdeck Restaurant, 3155 S. University Drive in Davie, on February 9 at 6 p.m.; admission is free.
Jeannie urges everyone to wear their favorite football or sports apparel and team colors for the casual dress code. At 6:30 p.m., the real Super Bowl kickoff will begin. There is parking accessible at the eatery. DDF will offer a limited buffet of food for this event at no cost to DDF families and guests, along with entertaining games, giveaways, and prizes.
Jeannie remarked, “I always love seeing all our families and welcoming new ones.” “Creating opportunities for children to engage with other children and parents to meet other parents outside of doctor’s appointments and hospital settings has always been my interest. I’m so grateful and fortunate that our Foundation can offer these chances to make new memories and friendships.
Reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, and RSVPs must be made by February 5th. RSVPs can be made over the phone at 866-295-KIDS (5437). In your response, include your first and last name, the number of adults or children in your group, and a phone number.
“We are beginning to plan our events and activities for the year, and 2025 is officially underway,” Jeannie stated. “Everyone is a football fan.”
The following will be on the food buffet menu: Burger sliders, chicken wings, baked ziti, French fries, nachos, chips, salsa, sheet cake dessert, soda, iced tea, and water, as well as pulled pork sliders.
Additionally, all DDF families and visitors may be able to place their own, paid orders from the Quarterdeck Restaurant menu.
A nine-member board of directors oversees the Foundation; its members have backgrounds in non-profit organizations, education, child advocacy, growth-related disorders, law, accounting, and disability. DDF is a volunteer-run organization without any paid staff.
