Coral Glades Boys Soccer To Play in Regional Quarterfinal In Coral Springs
CORAL SPRINGS, FL – The Coral Glades High School boys soccer team is hoping to continue making history as they look to win their first regional game in school history in Coral Springs.
Coach Robens Decius knows his team will be tested as they host Spanish River on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The Jaguars (8-6-4) captured their first district championship last week and enter the regional playoffs as the third seed. The sixth-seeded Sharks (12-5-1) advanced to the regional quarterfinal by virtue of a higher regional ranking than most of the other district finalists.
“We are finally playing very well,” said Coral Glades coach Robens Decius. “We have been putting it together finally.”
Coral Glades has only reached the post-season twice before in school history, in 2005 in Class 4A and in 2010 in Class 6A, both as the district runner-up.
