Coral Springs Arson Incident: Family Still Wants To Know Why They Were Targeted

CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Three weeks after a man attempted to burn down an elderly couple’s Coral Springs house, the family is still trying to figure out why they were targeted.
“They just want to know why,” the couple’s son, Marc Schechter, said Sunday.
Coral Springs police have not released any new information on the search for a man captured on a Ring camera walking up to a house on NW 113 Terrace in Cypress Run on Feb. 21, dumping gas in the garage area, starting a small fire, and then taking off.
