Coral Springs, Florida – On December 19, the Coral Springs Police Department spread holiday cheer to 998 children and teenagers at this year’s annual Lions Park Toy Distribution Event.

The Department’s Community Involvement Unit has organized an event aimed at bringing the holiday spirit to local families in need.

Officers assigned to schools carefully choose participants from local schools, concentrating on children who may benefit from additional joy during this time of year.

With the incredible backing of donors and community members, the department provided more than 6,000 toys for children to select from. Officers accompanied each child along the aisles of gifts, creating memorable experiences as they assisted in choosing toys that ignited joy and enthusiasm.

Deputy Chief Bradley Mock expressed heartfelt appreciation, stating, “We are deeply grateful for the generosity of our community.” “Such occasions highlight the resilience and togetherness found in Coral Springs.” Seeing the joy and excitement on the children’s faces as we contribute to making their holidays special is truly rewarding.
