Coral Springs ranks as one of the top 5 places to relocate in Florida

Coral Springs, Florida – A recent study highlights Coral Springs as one of the top locations to relocate to in Florida.
This month, ConsumerAffairs.com, a site dedicated to consumer guidance and reviews, published a study that ranks the top locations to relocate within the Sunshine State. Evaluators of the study assessed Florida’s 50 largest cities using five key criteria: affordability, economic strength, education and health care, quality of life, and safety.
Coral Springs has secured the third position in the rankings for the best cities overall, surpassing rivals such as Boca Raton at #19, Plantation at #14, Pembroke Pines at #6, Tamarac at #5, and Miramar at #11.
The study evaluators stated, “Coral Springs ranks as the third-best city to relocate to in Florida, thanks to its impressive safety, economic stability, and quality of life.” “Almost 66 percent of residents live within a 10-minute walk to a park — the highest percentage compared to any other city in the top five.” Between 2022 and 2023, homes in this area experienced a 6.3 percent increase in value, indicating that properties here are promising investments for potential Florida residents.
A possible downside for those considering a move: Coral Springs secured the 26th position in terms of affordability among the cities analyzed.
Tamarac secured the fifth position largely because its economy ranked first among the 50 largest cities in the state, as highlighted by the study. Tamarac faces challenges, as it placed #27 in both the affordability and health and education categories based on the data.
ConsumerAffairs.com evaluated city economies by considering three key metrics: the five-year population growth from 2018 to 2023, the poverty rate in 2023, and the home appreciation value from 2022 to 2023.
The study utilized data from the U.S. Census Bureau and Zillow, as reported by the site.
Wesley Chapel, a suburb in the Tampa Bay area, secured the top position on the list. In Sarasota County, North Port secured the second position.
